Goodman AMC the renown consulting and management firm did a research to unveil the richest people in Ghana. The target was 100 people who have more that $100 million in their accounts.
It came out with these three men as the only billionaires in Ghana now. Hopefully soon more will come up. Possibly me..lol
Now let’s check these billionaires in Ghana, their net worth, and their profession
CHARLES AMPOFO ($1.46 Billion)

The Chairman and Founder of Kampac Group, Charles Ampofo is the richest man in Ghana now. According to Goodman AMC, Mr. Charles Ampofo is worth $1.46 billion.
The Group engages in various activities and operates Kampac Oil as its primary business. Other companies under the group, includes Kampac Properties, Kampac Travels, Kampac Flora, Kampac Telecom and Kampac Resource.
ERNESTO TARICONE ($1.3 Billion)

Ernesto Taricone, is the owner of Trassco Valley. He is worth $1.3 billion according to Goodman AMC.
Ernesto is an industrial investor and civil engineer, he is the Executive Chairman and CEO of Trasacco Group which employs over 4000 Ghanaians and expatriates. The billionair built Trassaco Valley, which is one of Ghana’s most luxurious residential areas
SAM ESSON JONAH ( $1.2 Billion)

Sir Sam Esson Jonah is worth $1.2 billion according to the consulting firm. Sam reached the prime of his career when he led the $1.48 billion merger between Ashanti Goldfields and AngloGold in 2004. A lot of mining companies have benefited from Sam Jonah’s expertise in the mining industry.
Sam’s equity fund, Jonah Capital owns 14 mineral resource assets across 10 countries in Africa. Sam Jonah acquired most of his fortune through Jonah Capital, a holding company and private equity firm that makes investments in the mining sector, real estate, agriculture, construction materials, financial services, oil and gas services.
