Captain Smart Afia Pokua quit Adom FM


Multimedia Adom FM’s duo Blessed Godsbrain Smart but widely known on radio as Captain Smart and Afia Pokuaa popularly known as Vim Lady have resigned from the station.

According to what Ghpage.com gathered, they are now moving to Accra-based Angel 102.9FM, a subsidiary of Angel Broadcasting Networks owned by Dr. Kwaku Oteng.

Captain Smart had a stint with Adom fm for 4 years that’s from July 23, 2013, to August 2017.He was the morning show dabbed ‘Dwaso Nsem’,host which happens to be one of the most-listened-to morning show programmes in the capital.

He had previously worked with OTEC FM, Kesewaa Radio and Fox FM all in the Garden City.Married to a beautiful wife called Afia Pokua.

Afia Pokua widely known as Vim Lady on radio is popular for her fire branded journalism style.On adom fm she anchored their midday news and hosted Burning issues, midweek evening political show.


Angel FM is located at Lapaz in Accra and is a new entrant to the market in the capital city. It is expected to give a tough time to other twi-speaking radio stations in the capital.

It is owned by Angel Group of Companies founded by Dr Kwaku Oteng.Also, owners of Angel Broadcasting Networks, which operates Angel TV,Angel 96.1 Fm in Kumasi.Angel Herbal Industry, Angel Natural Mineral Water, Angel Transport and Trading Limited. 

They also operate, Angel Gold Mining Company, Adonko bitters, Angel Educational Complex and Angel Estates and Construction Limited.
